In 2011, prior to embarking on my Masters, I attended a number of conferences and presented several papers as a way of getting some practice in the skills of academic writing. Although I did write papers for some of these, I haven’t had the time or courage to bring them to publication stage. In the meantime, I did want to have my presentations available with my notes which in each case were essentially read verbatim at the conferences (I didn’t trust myself to improvise).
